Outfit Obsession : Say & Route 99

Sometimes, two designs come along that just beg to be worn together. My most recent obsession has been Maja Manufaktur’s knickerbockers2.0  in Pickles Merino Tweed, colourway Trail along with the Fuzzy Dot Cardi from Pickles, this time in Big Fuzz colourway Bling. The shorts are now finished (and they make me jump for joy!) and the cardi will in no doubt be finished just in time for the hot summer weather, therefore rendered unnecessary, but oh well.

However, now a new obsession has crept into mind, and is leaving my fingers itching to cast on despite my ever-growing stack of UFO's. It’s the Say Jumpsuit - again from Pickles - and Lee Meredith’s awesome Route 99 Turban, featured in a new magazine called Stranded (something else to be excited about!).

Can’t you just imagine lazy days in the sun, throwing your jumpsuit on over your sunkissed skin and keeping cool under that intricate Turban? Or, if you’re like me, hoping that the amazing colourwork (which is all just slip stitches and cables: no fiddling with two colours at the same time!) will distract onlookers from your glaringly pale legs. Either way, they’re both winners, and will be depriving me of sleep until the next borderline-unhealthy obsession comes along.

How about you guys? What project - or projects - have you been secretly daydreaming about lately?
