Join Arounna in creating your own design using the Oxford punch needle, you will learn the basic fundamentals of this fun and addictive technique. This traditional technique of rug hooking is fun and a quick way to create an image that can be used for wall hangings, pillows and rugs. All materials included and no experience required. In this workshop you will create an art wall hanging Included with purchase of workshop each student will receive a kit that consists of the oxford punch needle, frame pre-stretched with monks cloth and a selection of yarn.

Bring: In this workshop you will only need to bring yarn in different colours and in wool or wool blends in a bulky weight. If you would like to take the frame, tools and more monks cloth home it will be additional kr. 400.

About the instructor:

Arounna Khounnoraj is one half of Bookhou; a multidisciplinary studio located in Toronto, Canada. They emphasize natural handmade materials and small production pieces. 

She is the author of the book Punch Needle, published May 2019.
